Adam McLean-2015 Defensive Tackle

Anyone know anything about this kid? He just de-committed from Penn State and just received 1 crystal ball to Tennessee. Is that just someone being retarded or is this a legit chance? Would love to get another 4* plus defensive tackle.

Seems like an odd commitment to take considering the way the rest of the class looks. Not sure we would be interested.

 

That's what I was wondering. He has an official Visit set for the 30th of January. You think they may want to flip to offense? He doesn't have the frame for offensive tackle though.

 

No clue. Maybe he has a teammate or buddy coming with him that we want more? Or maybe the visit was just set up a long time ago before we got better guys on the DL. Or maybe he comes from a really good high school and if he has interest it would be a good thing to not totally blow him off.

 

I think Tennessee went after him pretty hard then backed off.

 

Grades concern I believe.

 

That's why a lot of schools backed off.

 

Would make sense on the late visit. Get a head start on recruiting him out of JUCO.
