All Hell About To Break Loose At Xavier

Talked to some folks in Cincinnati legal community today and they say the controversy about Dez Wells's expulsion has created a huge rift between the basketball program and X's administration.

 

Haven't had time to follow it, but what I heard on the radio sounded very sketchy.

 

And now the kid shows up on Kentucky's campus unexpectedly....

 

When Joe Deters, who carries a huge political stick in Cincinnati, comes out on the side of someone accused of a crime, it's newsworthy.

Ive been reading a lot about this guy since he listed Memphis as a possible destination. We have a really good shot at getting him too based on the circumstances.

When the Grand Jury cannot find enough evidence in a sexual assault case then its more likely the alleged victim concocted a story to save face than to have actually been sexually assaulted.

 

Interesting. Love X's staff from Mack to Pegius to Growe; been up there several times, they do a great job teaching pack defense.

 

So what is the deal? He got dismissed despite no conviction, trial, or evidence?

Yeah, I bet a lot of the victims really wanted it, and probably enjoyed it.

 

The only victims in this case are Dez Wells and Xavier's credibility.
