Anybody watch yesterday? Crowds didn't look to bad. Spurrier looks like he still has it. Interested to watch Memphis today.
Guess I'm an Apollos fan because of Spurrier, and Garrett Gilbert was a superhero in an online dynasty years ago.
I was honestly shocked at how good of football it was last night. I think QB play could hinder it since they’re hell bent on being pro offenses and even the NFL struggles with that for its 32 teams.
The issue is going to be defenses just playing quarters and forcing underneath passing and a lot of dinking and dunking down the field and not enough down the field passing.
I'm always going to hold those Florida years against Spurrier, I absolutely hated him then. I do enjoy his antics now, but it took a few years after he left UF and didn't mind him at all at South Carolina(Especially when he was beating clemson). He is a genuine character and can never be duplicated and football is better with him in it.
I despised him at UF. Once he was gone, Mark Richt just didn't fill the villain role and hell, Tennessee beat Zook.
