Bought Axis and Allies 1942 for my oldest son for his birthday. Game is some serious amount of intense.

    Anyone here play?

I played a computer port of it in the early 2000s. From what I remember, it was a super fun game.

That looks pretty cool. I have 1 that likes to play Risk and old school Stratego.
    May try it.

It is pretty complex. You have to use economy, factories, bombing runs on factories, anti-aircraft, capitol capture, etc. It is pretty advanced, and I would suggest it.

Did you ever play Dogs of War? https://www.myabandonware.com/game/dogs-of-war-ddb

You will be hard pressed to find anything about it, but it is a fan based variant of Triple A (Axis and Allies).

It might be up your alley for online play. If you could find someone to play.
