    James Franklin may be better, but "better" is not the objective. There are thousands of coaches, celebrities, message board posters, soccer moms, house cats, outdoor cats, fictional Twain characters, mythical sea creatures, etc who would undoubtedly be better than Dooley.

    But that's not necessarily good enough. Tennessee needs elite. And Franklin sure as hell is not elite.

    I agree. I am sure there are so many logistical things to consider with contracts, interim, showing Dooley the door that dictates what the date will be. But you don't know what those are, you wonder.
