It happens a handful of times on the first Thursday and Friday of the tournament. Basketball nirvana is an idyllic state of perfection and beauty that takes place when games from all four regions are being played and viewed concurrently. How do you experience this transcendent state you ask? 1. Get to a place that has all four channels within plain view. Preferably with cold beer, wings, burger, pizza, or whatever proper cuisine you can find. Technically you can do a combination of streaming and TV's at home these days, but I'd call that Nirvana lite. 2. Wait for it. With staggered start times, timeouts, half time, etc. it only happens briefly. But when it does, it'll change your life. Hope y'all enjoy it as much as I do.
A couple of times while working on my Master's the tourney fell on Spring Break. I would be in the computer lab, watching every game on 4+ computers and on the projector. Was awesome. One time the janitor joined me for a few minutes.
I don't like that CBS won't switch to games going down the wire anymore. I shouldn't have to get Tru tv.
I've watched almost zero basketball this year, but I did have this feeling that iowa state couldn't possibly be that good.
Hindsight being 20/20, I still wouldn't have expected a loss to the blazers after they won the Big 12 tournament. Hallowed_Hill, you've got a fun thread here.
Today is my first experience in an office setting where people are pretending to be working. I'm not a fan.
I went to sit on the crapper, coincidentally or no, you be the judge, at the same time the ND/NEern game went into the last 30 seconds
