i don't know that he's dumb, but i think he thinks he's a lot smarter than he is.

 

I don't get worked up, I just quit spending money on it. I haven't been to a Tennessee football game since 2011 or a basketball game since 2010.

 

Weird that it took so long for him to get snatched up and that it was done by a powerhouse like Mississippi State.

I remember Mark Titus being the leader of the "Howland is a bad coach" train, and a few of my Grantland-obsessed friends started spreading that idiocy immediately thereafter. IIRC you were saying a lot of the same things here.

 

Well I certainly have read Titus' thoughts on him, but it's not as if I thought Howland was awesome, read Titus' bashing of him, and then changed my opinion. I would hope you wouldn't think that. That would make me do a sad face.
