This isn't really a political post, but figured safer to leave here vs risk a ban from henley.

 

He has a lot of positive momentum down here right now. I don’t think he’ll win but he’s giving Cruz a race.

 

Nationally - Beto is making Rs spend money in Texas that they would rather spend and had planned on spending elsewhere.

 

Some (or maybe a lot) of Willie Nelson’s fans loosing their shit is pretty funny too.

 

I don’t know how it’s possible to be a Willie Nelson fan and be unaware of his politics.

 

I am similarly baffled that this is a thing.

 

Nobody around here cares about Willy's politics, and everybody likes him

Ted Cruz is sending out requests for campaign donations disguised in envelopes that say "SUMMONS ENCLOSED- OPEN IMMEDIATELY".

 

That has to piss off some people that otherwise would have leaned his way.

 

Well, given the fact that I've gotten mortgage offers in summons envelopes, I wouldn't think it's illegal so much as highly unethical and generally scummy.

 

It's attempted fraud....in both cases.

If only we had an effective consumer protection program...

 

It's amazing to watch.

That's garbage, all partisanship aside. Too bad he didn't pull that shit in the primary.

 

Pretty sure Ted Cruz and Sab go on the same sites for pleasure. That dude has a face of a pedo like no other.

 

I was listening to a podcast (Axe Files) with Goolsbee (former Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors) this weekend. He was talking about how he used to school Ted Cruz in college (or maybe high school?) debates. Said that he is better than anyone at structuring his arguments ahead of time - but that his pride got him every time. Funny part, I thought, was that he mentioned he has been consulting with Beto.
