another thing that made no sense is to why we never had that little shimmy guy at slot that is a 3rd down nightmare. Exactly what Wilson and Mcklesky bring, they weren't highly rated and skipped over by Butch as well. a kid that has made 70 first down catches over a couple years, was not what we needed at slot. We instead go db Byrd, Josh Smith, Pig with no shimmy or breakaway speed. Pathetic coaching and play from the slot

 

A healthy pig was fine. Josh smith was just not the guy to be giving so many snaps. He was at near his ceiling

 

I just don't recall Pig making the first guy miss very often. I liked him and he gave it what he had.

 

Yeah he’d have averaged about 0.7 targets per game here

 

Pig made as many plays as anybody for a couple of years, i suppose

 

But that WR from Florida, with no power 5 offers, looks like a real sleeper

 

He got picked up by Chicago when they hired Azzani. Strange but true.

 

That was one if the things that pissed me off the most about Butch.

You have 5 ft 8 inch 170 lb kid in Florida with no offers or 5 ft 9 inch Tennessee legacy with no offers.

Jones recruiting method the past few years has been to offer every 3-star from North Florida.

 

I thought we offered him as safety, told him he couldn't play QB, which is where UK signed him.

 

A detail I think I remember is that we offered fairly late, as well

 

It was all about getting a shot at QB.

 

He also had a ton of off the field problems and was, generally, a not so very good human being in my fairly well informed opinion.
