The Shields Watkins turf management crew just said "#(*@ excuses, we make our own fate" and didn't lament a mild summer or the previous staff choosing bermuda instead of bluegrass. So, tired of SW Field looking like a bag of hot ass on national TV, they took extenuating circumstances into their own hands and strove to overcome pitfalls and bumps in the way. SW Field management group for OC, IMO.
The field has almost looked as bad as the offense the last three games. Atta way to take control though.
