Memphis seemed like the perfect replacement. Why didn't that happen?

 

I was kind of hoping for Miami to be honest. Rough up the ACC to start the season off right.

 

I am sure we were leaning on them for a long-term basketball contract, and they didnt want to do it. That is usually the reason we don't play Memphis in football any more.

 

I don't mind having a warm up game to start the season. The SEC schedule is tough enough then having Oklahoma as one of the OOC games, they could use a few easy ones.
