Saw a stat on Sportscenter but was busy and didn't catch everything. Anyway, evidently Brady's completion percentage to Gronkowski is unreal whereas his stats to the rest of the receivers are terrible. Did anyone else see that?
Even Welker? I didn't see it but that's interesting. The way they use Gronkowski and Hernandez is genius
Caught my eye too. It's particularly skewed in the red zone. He's thrown something like 14 or 15 TDs to Gronkowski in the red zone, and only 3 or 4 to other receivers this year. Everybody knows it's coming, but can't do anything to stop it.
Patriots have really known how to work their TEs for years. Now that they have two pass-catching beasts I think they could start Zach Rogers at WR and still have a top 5 offense.
It was something like 80% to Rob and sub-30% to the rest of the team. I'm not sure if maybe that was just postseason play, or what.
I think that stat was for balls thrown in the red zone only...not 100% certain, but believe that was the case.
