Is it normal to play the second leg 4 years later. I thought home and homes were normally back-to-back?
There's not a normal. You work it out when you can. We did this with Oregon, where we put something like 3 years between epic beatdowns.
Could be an interesting road trip. My feelings on these things have as much to do with destination as opponent
I'd fly in to Denver and drive if I were you. I've driven across the Great Plains at least a dozen times in my life. It's not worth it.
If BYU isn't any good now, they will be, seems like as soon as we schedule an OOC opponent like this, they magically become worldbeaters, only to suck again as soon as we roll off...
ya, that's true. There's literally one good bend in the road as you pass near Colby. A Pilot Travel Center is right on it.
Absolutely my #1 domestic vacation spot. The Wasatch mountains are incredible. Also, you can get high grav (translation: either normal or high grav) beer, but you gotta visit the liquor store to do it.
I'd fly into Bozeman Montana and come in from the North for the best scenery. JMO. Colorado aint bad.
