Anyone have a comprehensive list of all the “stats” that were broken or “hasn’t happened since X” type of comments from the [uck fay] Bama game?

Top five teams are now 476-1 when scoring 49 points.

Bama is 132-1 while scoring 49 points.

Bama hadn’t given up more than 51 points since a 54-4 loss to Sewanee in 1907. They hadn’t given up more than 50 since a 51-43 loss to Tennessee in 2003.

No one has caught 5 TDs in a game against a top five team since Torry Holt against Florida State in 1997. 5 TDs is also a UT record.

No team has ever started 6-0, scoring 30 points each game, while having played four ranked teams.

These are the ones I remember, I’m sure there are more.

These are from that Reddit post I referenced in another thread
    • This is Tennessee's first win over Alabama since 2006.

    • Alabama's 49 points are the most they've ever scored in a loss.

    • Alabama allowed 52 points - it's the most points they've allowed in a game in 115 years.

    • Alabama had 1st & 10 from the Tennessee 32 yard-line with 30 seconds left, tied 49-49. They lost in regulation.

    • Alabama has had as many games decided by three points or fewer the last two years as they did in the previous decade combined.

    • Seven of Alabama's last 20 games have been decided by six points or fewer. They had seven such games in their previous 80 games combined.

    • Tennessee has defeated Florida and Alabama in the same season for the first time since 2004.

    • This was the first time an AP Top 3 team lost while scoring 49+ points. They were previously 476-0.

    • Alabama was penalized for 130 yards, which is their most since at least 2000.

    • In his last nine games, Hendon Hooker has accounted for 28 touchdowns and 3,066 yards.

    • That comes out to 3.1 touchdowns and 340.6 yards per game.

    • In his last seven quarters, Jalin Hyatt has seven touchdowns and 270 receiving yards.

    • Extrapolated, that would be 48 TD and 1,851 receiving yards in a 12 game regular season.

    • Hendon Hooker is the first Tennessee QB to throw for 5 passing TD in a game since Tyler Bray in 2012. Hooker has done it twice in his last seven games.

    • At Virginia Tech, Hooker had 22 passing TD in 21 games. At Tennessee, he has 46 passing TD in 19 games.

    • The last time Tennessee beat Alabama, Nick Saban was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins and Josh Heupel was in his first year as QB coach at Oklahoma.

    • This was the first time since at least 2000 that Alabama had 425+ passing yards and lost. Their average margin of victory in those previous games was 24.8 points.

    • This is the 8th time Josh Heupel's Tennessee team has gained 500+ yards. That's as many as Tennessee had in the previous five years combined.

    • Hendon Hooker leads the SEC in passing efficiency and yards per attempt. And despite playing only six games (bye week already), he's in the top three in the SEC in passing yards and touchdowns.

    • Alabama is 9-3 in their last 12 games vs. SEC opponents. It's their worst stretch vs. SEC teams since 2010-2011.

    • Alabama has had 100+ penalty yards four times in the last two seasons. That's as many as they had from 2003-2020 combined.

    • For the first time since 2000-2001, Tennessee has a player with 10+ receiving TD in back to back seasons. Cedric Tillman and Jalin Hyatt currently; Cedrick Wilson and Donte' Stallworth in 2000-20001.

    • This was the first time Alabama lost a game without throwing an interception since 2017 (Auburn). They'd won 38 straight entering last night.

    • This was the first time Alabama allowed 5+ passing touchdowns in a game since their 2013 win over Texas A&M.

    • In just a few hours, Tennessee will have their highest AP ranking since 2005.

    • The last time Alabama passed for 350+ yards, didn't throw an interception, and lost, it was to the soon-to-be National Champions (Auburn 2010.) They did that again vs. Tennessee.
