Cuonzo asking for raise and extension?

Saw this mentioned. Can anyone verify its authenticity?

I've just seen it mentioned and people raising hell about it on twitter and TOS.

 

If Mike Hamilton were still there, he wouldn't have to ask.

 

Sounds like something VQ would make up. They hate Cuonzo and revere Bruce.

Here's the full list. Cuonzo could be 7th or so by merit, but I don't really think it's a good time to renegotiate.

 

The Pearlophiles at TOOS are jumping on this too, unsurprisingly. I never thought I would hate any faction of the UT fanbase more than the Fulmerites, but the Tan Man worshippers are giving them a run for their money.

If true, this could be interesting, if only for a moment.

 

We are sure as heck about to learn something about Mr. Hart, or at minimum verify current beliefs.

 

Depends on how hard lines get drawn.

I'd say that NYY wants to end up at the Bunny Ranch with a pocketful of $100's than Hart / Cheek want to find themselves in a coaching search.

If history / the trend of modern events is any indicator, underwhelming as it is, he'll likely get a slight bump and / or an extra year added. It's at least an arguable point, which usually all that is required to get some movement from UTAD.

 

Except I doubt he has any suitors unless Painter drops dead tonight. Maybe, maybe if Haith got canned.

 

Going to the NIT is never acceptable for getting any kind of raise unless you went 2-31 the previous year.

 

Personally, I think that his stock is about what it was when he was hired...maybe a tic less.

Given the universal lack of respect for the SEC, some may think he should have ran roughshod over most teams.

 

This team will win 24 games next year, and Martin will get his raise. The following years will be mediocre at best. Martin will be gone in three years. Simply my humble opinion.

 

Maybe then the AD will get it right and hire Glen 'Big Dog' Robinson.

 

I have little confidence in CCM next year or thereafter. Don't you guys miss Pearl? I still experience night sweats thinking of Steven Pearl and McBee trotting up court and watching their OFFENSIVE performance. Those were the days............
