Lol Where is this class ranked nationally now? I think I saw high teens or twentieth on rivals earlier.
Sounds about right. Butch will close with three or four 5*'s I try too hard with my VNesque response.
Definitely need a really strong finish to be in the same league as the last two classes. I really like JG. Few others.
The qb, the rb from Florida dominated but I'm not sure how good the competition is, the Bituli kid is a physical freak but plays weak competition and the olineman from Nashville is really good.
Anyone else hear Bob Welton on Doug Mathews' show this morning? Asked about the recruiting class, he said with the smaller sized class it may not rank as high but they were real happy with the commits they have. Also that they had to be a little more picky about who gets a (commitable) offer since they can't take as many. He then went on to say that in the last few years they had to find guys that could start right away but now they have the depth to be able to go after project players. Maybe it's just me but typically, aren't the guys that can start right away the guys you want? I realize being able to redshirt most of your class is a good sign but being happy about finding project players seems like a way to sugar coat a less than stellar class. It's especially odd in a year when numbers are tight.
We have some high impact guys but they're not expected to come in and start right away because of the improved talent level on campus. I think this is a pretty good class to fill in depth behind the last 2 classes. Guarantano looks like a superstar at the QB position
Would he resign in shame if Northwestern stomps us in the bowl game? I see this as the only way left in this season.
