The part about him saying he would go if paid the buyout comes as no surprise to me. That's sad if you think about it and tells me he's been feeling the pressure from Hart and others for a while now. No wonder he looks like he aged 10 years over a 2 year span.

So if it was Hart's fault Wilcox and Sirmon left, I feel like he effectively sabotaged this season.

If they left on their own accord, which I still think is he case, the narrative doesn't change at all.

I don't think Dooley knew how deep the backlash from the UK debacle would be. Lost the boosters and offered to go does not surprise me.

 

I have no idea why our AD allowed him to come back if he wanted to quit like that. Pay him his buyout at the end of '11 and cut your losses.

 

He definitely showed more balls asking to resign with his buyout than at the end of the half or kicking that late FG.

How is it Hart's fault that Dooley snapped the 26 year streak to Kentucky and then wanted to take all 5 million of his toys and go home. To me, that's not Hart sabotaging a season but Dooley.
