Does he start to get some after today?

The Vols are 5-0 for the first time since 1998.

Hell no. He's not even in the same area code as the two QBs that just finished playing on ABC. There's several other guys that would be more deserving as well. Hell, he's not even the best player on his own team.

I don't think he could be a finalist unless we go undefeated and no other power 5 team does.

If the Vols keep winning, someone has to be in the convo. I think Dobbs is the player it'd be.

He needs to dominate Alabama to the tune of 350+ yards passing with 120+ yards on the ground

You'll likely have Watson, Jackson, Barrett, Ward, and Peppers on teams that will finish with no more than one or two losses. McCaffrey will continue to be hyped. Cook should be in the conversation as well, but FSU being down a little may hurt him.

Dobbs is under 60% passing, which is terrible considering the number of short passes/screens that we throw. Also has 6 interceptions in 5 games.

It is time for Barnett to get the love Garrett receives.

No doubt. Stats are pretty similar and I'm pretty sure Barnett has more sacks against SEC opponents.

It's totally within his power next week

I've not seen the stats, but would think Dobbs resume this season is comparable to Watson.

And I'm not sure the two QBs tonight are the best on their teams. 10 for Louisville and 7 for Clemson looked pretty damn good.

I believe their stats were very similar prior to today's games.

Jackson is Louisville. Suggesting otherwise is lunacy.

If he beats Bama he'll be in the mix. It's more about the highlight reel now than anything.

Was going to say Barnett deserves some attention.

Barnett only gets sacks against SEC competition. Seriously, 95% of his sacks are against power 5 conference schools

    He's better, in my opinion

I love Dobbs for what he is, but he deserves the Heisman just a little bit more than me.
