Dominance vs. Parity

    Interesting article from the WSJ. He likes dominance more than parity. I agree. This is the reason I have never loved the NFL.

    Sports "needs" dominance just like country music "needs" Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts. Absurd.

    I think he makes a very good point, although I disagree a little bit.

    Sports needs an antagonist or a rivalry. I think that is a bigger deal than dominance, although quite often the winner and the antagonist are the same.
