Drifting, Anyone?

I have been thinking of trying Drifting with my Miata. Anyone have any experience doing this? I know tires are important and a large expense. I also wonder if a Miata has enough power in mostly stock form. I have added a better air intake, hp wires, and a coil pack. What are some other easy mods? I have beefier sway bars and nylon bushings as far as chassis mods, still have stock height. Also, anywhere around Knoxville there is competition?

 

Im not sure my car Dr. has a drift beater........... he just upgraded the whole front end ....... check out his Face book page markertmotor works....... hes down here in Ga ... but I think the Yolo drifT circuit is all over!

 

So I had to google it to find out what it was and my only question is if anyone does this who isn't a) bored out of their mind and/or b) drunk. No offense broyles.

Miata would probably be a good car for drifting being a light weight rear wheel car.

I initially thought RB was messing with us. I was being sarcastic regarding my Jeep.

 

I think it's called rolling when you try to do it in a Wrangler.

 

I pulled off a 180 in my Wrangler one time.
