DT recruiting prayer vigil thread

McCullers, Taylor, Tomlinson, Watson, O'Brien. Am I missing anyone who is on our radar?

Who do we have the best chance at pulling? Would we turn anyone less high profile away?

I think we have a decent shot at O'Brien. It's down to us or Michigan, and from everything I read, Michigan may not have room for him.

I read on TOOS and I think on VB before that O'Brien is visiting Tennessee October 15. Now I'm seeing that he is talking about announcing his choice on October 6. That could only be a good thing, right?

Danny O'Brien is announcing the week before he visits in October. Michigan or Vols.

Darrington Sentimore says we lead. Big time JUCO DT that was going to play for Bama this year.

 

From what I understand, O'Brien really enjoyed his visit to Michigan and the exciting game that was played against Notre Dame. Sounds to me like he would prefer to go to Michigan, but from what I understand they may not have room. We certainly shouldn't burn any bridges, but don't get your hopes up about O'Brien.

 

This is starting to look like a problem. Two years of basically nothing. I know there is a while to go yet and this staff seems to recruit reasonably well, but we're definitely struggling here.

 

Tennessee has since 2003. It's been 3 different staffs not being able to get them here. I don't understand it.

 

Esp when you consider what the D-line was from 98-01.
