Early season TV schedule is out

GA state will be a ppv game at 4.

Florida is 6 pm espn kickoff.

 

6pm. I'll take it.

 

Don't mind either one.

 

Me too. Means I'll get to stay at the beach Friday night.

 

GA state will be good. Gonna take the little guy. Will be easier than night game.

 

Night games vs Florida should have been a tradition that never went away.

 

I bet UF fans tend to think differently.

 

Since we started playing annually in 1990, the results of night games are.........

We won in 90, 98 and 04.

They won in 91, 94, 99, 05, and 06.

3-2 in Neyland and 0-3 in The Swamp.

I say that to say, meh. We go from being totally dominated to having a fighting chance. We don't have the decided advantage in night games people seem to think we do.

 

I was more referring to how bad we seem to suck in the afternoon.

 

If you count '01, it looks slightly shinier. That was at least a partial night game.

 

I start with kickoff time. 01 was 4:30 kickoff, and given that via Sunrise and Sunset for U.S.A. – Florida – Gainesville – December 2001 sunset was 5:30pm in Gainesville that day, I have to count it as an afternoon game.

 

Certainly a fair point, but it's worth mentioning that that's where a lot of our night game nostalgia comes from.

 

That, and 98 and 04. I think 98 and 04 play a bigger role because of the way the games played out. That's just an IMO.

 

I agree, but the triumvirate is all solid in people's minds.
