He seems like a personality type that they need in that locker room. Fierce, prideful competitor in the Jennings mold.

 

Pruitt has all but adopted him, too. Even if he never plays another snap here, he'll get a degree. It's going to be a cool story either way.

It doesn't make a lot of sense, but a 45 year old bald guy from north Alabama gets a bunch of 18 to 22 year olds

 

I think it's important to not throw people away. Saban has talked about this sort of thing, too. you can radically affect the trajectory of a 19 year old's whole life for the positive just by not tossing them away when they screw up.

JGr a lot of it imo comes from his background and being around a bunch of kids for many years with all sorts of family and background issues. He understands the struggles and will do everything he can to help chsnge the path for some families.

 

I think all DL will get their 4 games and RS unless they are just absolute studs.

Joseph is intriguing.

 

I like it. This staff has a knack for finding talent. And they’re putting key pieces together.

 

Have they approached you about coaching TEs and WRs yet? I think you would be a natural at it.

 

Now at 9th. As is, class would have finished 15th last year.

We had a good ESD.

 

His coaching style was criticized as being "way too hands-on".
