While I have been down on the Vols after seeing them play, my pre-season record prediction was 9-3 with losses to Bama, GA, and TAMU. First year coaches are like backup QB's to us. 4 weeks in, I think we could eek out a win over GA, but we will have to have a bad game somewhere in this stretch. A&M at College Station is going to be a real test. It just comes down to whether this win will energize us or distract us.

Gaulden isn't the difference maker everyone tried to make us believe he was last year. It was as if losing him changed the course of the entire 2015 season. He isn't any better than Foreman.

I've said this since we played the last year. His big season last year was a complete fluke.

My (now) wife drove down from Lexington to meet me at that game. It was the first UT game she saw in person and began the 1-20 something home losing record. The exception was the '04 Florida game, btw.

 

As far as this year, I see no difference.
