2015 will be tough to keep 50% of top 10 in state.

 

It helps that he has made them a priority. We've lost those guys in the past because of over estimating our influence with instate kids. Butch has done the opposite.

 

Yeah just a lot of this next class is set on leaving the state and a higher % in Memphis this year. And a couple probably head to Vandy.

I actually do have a clue - I can break down the 2015 top 10 in the state to prove to you it will be really tough for Butch to pull 5/10 this year.

We get anywhere between 2-5 imho. It's a deep year and we will get some other good ones.

Using 247's rankings, I think there's a good chance we land at least 4, maybe 5 of the top 10. Richmond, Phillips, Jones, Jefferson and Smith. I'm curious to see how hard Butch goes after Jennings considering how many top quarterbacks we are in on.

 

Don't think we can land Smith.

 

Seems to like us a lot. Vandy of course has the advantage of his brother.

 

Yeah if his brother had gone anywhere but Vandy I would be confident we would get him.

 

I think I remember hearing that if Jennings is going to play high level college football it will be as a safety, not at QB. I could be wrong, but I think it was him who I heard that about.
