Someone told me that all the recent talk aimed at Banks being a leader and such was done so in an effort to try and force him to grow up and stay in line. There were some issues early, but coaches reached out to some former players to try and help him "get right" per say. Speaking of...I find it funny that Banks and Carvin's high school coach was given a job at Memphis, but had those two talents (and others) yet couldn't get deep in the 6A playoffs.
How hilarious is Knoxville media? Think back about some of the stuff they said coming out of Fall camp. Kongbo is a dominant force. Wide receivers are disappointing. Tight QB race. OL is a strength. Anything else? Next year should we just assume the exact opposite of everything they say is the truth?
Callaway makes catching look so easy. It's like he has magnetic gloves and it's effortless catching passes.
Drops happen in practice at times due to the nature of drills, thinking about the route, "i gotta catch this ball cause JJ just dropped one", etc. When its gametime, you play with instinct and dont think about it. Totally psychological
along similar lines, Basilio's postgame show callers, after seeing 3 passes against a bunch of guys enrolled in a college and on a football team, decided that Chryst should start, and that he "is in charge in the huddle", which is clearly evident watching on TV
