Good. We fought for most of the game. We just suck.

 

We've got guys that are scrappy but I'm afraid they also are guys that are just trouble.

We couldn’t cover a 25 point spread as home dogs in Neyland goddam Stadium. If anyone on that team wants a fight, they should have found it somewhere between 7p-10:30p.

 

Ahh, the team fought. Just lack the horses to compete for 4 quarters.

 

I thought they played hard for each other tonight. 2 score game in 4th quarter with a young QB and freshmen on the OL. Cant blitz fromm and his OL. He will pick it apart.

 

things that make me angry
1. We need to toughen up. Nobody that takes themselves seriously lays completely dead on the field just to hop up and jog off the field.
2. Jim Chaney scripted the first drives very well, but shit buddy, everything down the stretch looked like the masterbatory fantasies of Mike Martz with a dry erase board.
3. Kirby sending blitzing both safties late in the game was chicken shit. We should have opened up the next drive by having all the recievers line up on the wide side and crack block everyone inside.
4. The defense needs to be less Joe Lee and more Woody Woodenhofer - Give them different looks but above all, line up and play.

 

Penalties hurt 2nd half rhythm on offense as well.
Missed fg was pretty big. Net -10 a minute later.

 

the personal foul on Morris was the biggest difference. Allowed Georgia to flip the field and we never recovered.

 

Jennings was going after Calvert from what I have seen elsewhere .. believe a GA got between them

 

Plain and simple, outside of the scripted series we should have had a plan on how to grind out drives, simplify things for the QB, and keep your defense off the field. It was apparent from about 5 minutes remaining in the first half that all of those things were zero priority. It is unconscionable that our offensive staff, with the millions that they are getting paid, hung that QB and the defensive out to dry like that.

 

Felt like gameplan was “I dunno...sling it around, kid”

 

Chaney drives me freaking batty.

 

If a GA stepped in front of Jennings, he must have to use a wheelbarrow to transport his massive testicles.

 

I was okay with it

 

Was not okay with defensive preparation.
