Would him being AD be good or bad? I could see the good 'ole boy network in full swing with him, which would be bad.
I'd like to see one thing from his 17 years here that would lead one to believe he'd be good at this. Of course, that means we make him the highest paid AD in the country.
I'll give him one thing (and one thing only, which may be enough at this point) the guy loves Tennessee. He knows the culture and I think he could work with (or around) Cheek to get things done. That said, there are too many negatives surrounding him to feel good about that happening... 2021 edit: Boy, it took me long enough to finally realize that Fulmer may LIKE Tennessee, but Fulmer only LOVES Fulmer.... Butthole and BPV were WAY ahead of me on that one.
I don't want him as AD. I'm just saying the dude actually has some skin in the game, as opposed to most of the rest of us...
Cut and Chavis would return. It would be an upgrade but so is getting pissed on rather than getting shit on.
Why is there such optimism about Blackburn? Simply that he isn't Dave Hart, or does he have some kind of good track record?
