He's a defensive coach by trade, but he knew that you can't win if you don't score -- a lot -- and so he brought in new offensive co-coordinators, handed them the keys to implement their fast-paced, airraid-style attack, the team scored more than people score with you mother, and TCU dropped an 11-1 after previous 4-8, 7-6 seasons in the Big 12. Biggie ups to you, Gary Patterson. Scoring is good. Scoring works.
I don't think this is a good argument for you, considering that neither of those teams has ever won anything.
3rd bcs level bowl in 7 years. Funny part is if he has an iota of defense against Baylor he's in the playoff.
They could definitely win it, but they'd be the first of these high-flying offenses to do it. When kidb goes gaga over them I just think of that Oklahoma team that set the FBS record for points and then scored 14 against Florida.
Yeah, I definitely wasn't taking a shot at Patterson. He's one of the best. I'd just take a great defense over a great offense, and I think he would too.
Florida State has the speed to man up and at least contain Oregon. If Jameis has his usual 3 turnovers before halftime, it may not matter
I don't know about that, but I kind of think they win. I think they'll rise to the occasion. And I certainly don't think the prognosticators who think Oregon is multiple TDs better are right.
Florida States defensive tackles will disrupt the Oregon offense and force every thing outside. It's been the same blueprint from Ohio State and Stanford.
Think FSU O-line is going to be a problem for Oregon d front. Not sure that Ducks can create enough pressure to disrupt Winston.
