He was a wing-t QB in high school that grew once he got to campus. His OC in college, Rich Scangarello, is now the QB coach for the San Francisco 49ers. He claims Thomson is as good as most NFL backups right now.

 

Am enjoying the "he's a QB from Wagner, why do we want him?" on Twitter.

 

Scangarello said he would draft him tomorrow. Kid is apparently extremely smart and is really starting to put it all together on the field. Coaches are trying to offer him a blue shirt to save space for this year's class.
