In an exhibition doubles match on his 53rd birthday, Johnny Mac and 19 year old American Jack Sock beat Gael Monfils and Steve Johnson (guy that beat Rhyne Williams last year in the NCAA finals, out of USC). What can we take from this? John McEnroe is *unquestionably* the best doubles player of all time and could probably still play competitively on the tour in doubles.

I love Johnny Mac. Who doesn't love Johnny Mac?

One of the handful of athletes I was truly awed by growing up. There's no doubt he could still be part of a competitive doubles team on the tour. I was hoping the US would use him against the Swiss when it became apparent the Bryan brothers couldn't compete in tandem.
