We need him, but [uck fay] his prima donna ass if he doesn’t want to come here and compete with Maurer.
[uck fay] Bailey. We were good without him 20 years ago. And a we’ll be good without him in another 50 years or so. [uck fay] him.
To be fair, we all need a coping mechanism to deal with the fact JG started those games. Whether Pruitt and co were sensitive to him wanting to be an heir apparent from day one is not too far to leap as logic goes.
I’d love to have Harrison Bailey, and really hope that we sign him. My comments weren’t predicated on Maurer’s performance, his starting tonight or anything else. I want kids at Tennessee who want to be here, and the best that we can possibly sign, even while fully understanding that it’s not and won’t be everyone’s choice. But as soon as they wish to play for and sign with anyone but Tennessee, they cease to matter, or to even exist, as far as I’m concerned. Just as I said earlier, if Bailey or any other recruit - no matter who it is - doesn’t want to come and play for Tennessee, and signs somewhere else instead, then legit, [uck fay]’em. I apologize for nothing.
On an individual level I agree, but I think there's a perception that he's the one holding the current recruiting class together (such as it is), and if he's gone, others follow. Then the whole rebuild collapses. I mean, we're not exactly coaching anyone up, or else Georgia's ex-OC combined with a national championship level DC as head coach could've figured out a game plan to hold Georgia to under 40 points. So we need better players. Bailey's the symbol of that.
We are likely to lose JG and Shrout this offseason. We have Maurer and the grad transfer from Maryland that wasn’t very good. We need him badly.
Ga ST scored 38 a few weeks ago. We couldnt get off the field but made some stops after giving up yards.
Depends on the point you re looking for. Give up 38 to Ga St in week 1 Then 36 to UGA in week 5 is different. The defense isnt good. But it's definitely better from week 1.
