ruled ineligible by the NCAA for living for free at people's apartments http://www.sbnation.com/college-foo...silas-nacita-baylor-football-ncaa-eligibility
Tarring and feathering is too good for the NCAA. Place needs to be (figuratively) blown up and start over again. They have lost all sight of spirit vs letter as well as the current landscape of modern college athletics.
Wow! Another fine example of ridiculous bureaucratic nonsense. The 'AA can't get out of it's own way. Much respect for Silas and how he continues to persevere.
Their inability to use a modicum of common sense when applying their rules makes the NCAA the dumbest organization on the planet. The level of absurdity in this case is staggering.
Almost as bad as them ruling the receiver for MTSU ineligible because he participated in a rec league on base while serving in the military. At least in that situation they realized how ****ing dumb the decision was and hopefully they'll do the same here.
I just don't know who rubber stamps a form ruling a kid who is working his ass off to change his situation as "ineligible."
I have a feeling this will blow up in their face and it will be overturned and he will be awarded a scholarship by Baylor.
yet cam newton gets a pass because they can't prove he knew his dad was selling him to the highest bidder. makes sense to me.
