He's now up to 41 inches according to VQ. Pretty **** impressive. I guess the real test will be cutting and moving laterally, but I still found that to be encouraging.
not to be a debbie downer, but every time i've heard the "i'm actually feeling better than before the injury" story it's been bs.
Apparently, this is legit. But, I'm sure there are questions about other things like lateral movement and cutting. And, I'm sure he'll have to get over the mental aspect of it as well.
If he's jumping that high and landing, I'm sure he's building his confidence quickly on that knee. "fingers-crossed"
It's like the kid in Rookie of the Year. Ligaments healed tight, he could throw a 100 mph fastball. Hope Hunter's healed tight and he can run a 2 40yd dash.
Just hope he doesn't trip on the ball and hours back to normal. Then again, that's still pretty good.
Could always get Bray to underhand him a hail mary on the last play, while the defenders mistime their jumps.
I think it is partly something someone tells themselves to help get passed some of the mental parts of recovery.
