Is recruiting worth talking about right now?

I am a huge recruiting fan. Have a script to Volquest solely for the recruiting info and when I joined this board I looked forward most to reviving the recruiting section.

However...

It just isn't worth talking about right now and won't be until our coaching situation is resolved. Once it is, I will do my best to bring recruiting info from around the net to this board for discussion...and not Volnation discussion where if you criticize a commit you are automatically a "moron negavol"

Looking forward to it. Like you said, it's just not relevant what Jones is doing recruiting-wise. It's like wondering what state you are over in a crashing plane.

 

Recruiting is gonna be in a "holding pattern" for awhile.

Minnesota is the best state for that.

 

This weekend is a huge recruiting weekend. He's got Calloway, Davis and Hardman visiting as well as Derrick Brown, Nigel Warrior and Kellen Dietsch.

If Tennessee were rolling, there would be 3 or 4 commits out of that group

 

Easily.

 

Sounds like a waste of a weekend for those kids.

 

If we lose but pickup a commit the Reds on VQ and VN will call for an extension

 

Davis and Hardman are going to UGA. All of those kids have UGA in their top schools as well.

 

Hardman is, Davis is far from a UGA lock

 

Well, hopefully we got them to reconsider going to UGA.

 

We'll see if the win has an effect on the status of Hardman and Davis.

 

I find it very interesting in the fact that Hardman is not going to use an OV to TN. Think that has a lot to do with the new recruiting stuff though.

 

He's not visiting UGA officially either...or Alabama or Auburn I don't think.
