I'm going to be trying your apple "moonshine" concoction for a game this Fall.

 

Explain

 

You take

1 gallon of apple cider
1 gallon of apple juice
3 cups of sugar
6 to 8 cinnamon sticks
750 ml 190 proof everclear or for less alcohol add Vodka

Bring the juice, cider, sugar, and cinnamon to a boil until the sugar dissolves

Cool to room temp and add the Everclear or Vodka and enjoy

 

He posted a recipe on toos. It isn't really moonshine in anyway, but it does contain 190 proof alcohol and is completely legal to make.

 

I have had this before.

I wanted to make sure it wasn't something different.

It's great stuff.

 

Sounds too sweet, but think I'm going to give it a try. Might make a nice, warm breakfast drink.

Wouldn't the cinnamon burn your eyes (considering you would only ingest this via ocular chugging)?

 

First game of the year, and I'm stuck listening to it on the radio. Bogus.

Anyone have any info if there will be an HD option this year? $35 for SD sucked last year.
