Unconditional is still a little odd, isn't it? I thought most of the time, the release would be to anybody not in conference or on schedule during his eligibility.
I wondered that as well. To be unconditional seems to mean he isn't worried about him contributing significantly enough to one of UF's opponents to be relevant. It would seem he has no confidence in his ability rather than just not being a a-hole.
