Jones and staff must have seen him in the AL/MS all star game as well? He is committed to Auburn. I haven't seen anything about recruiting him. Quick info by you GV182.

Listed as an athlete on Rivals. Was recruited by Thigpen at Auburn.

 

Have no idea. Maybe he said corner back on the radio and was mis heard. Don't know.

 

Athlete is probably the right description. He plays QB in high school but his breakdown says he's very raw as a passer. He is projected as a wide receiver at the college level ... comes in at #30 on scouts, different on rivals, different on espn 250 ... who knows what Jones is planning for him. Looks like he's fast as hell tho.

 

If Thigpen is recruiting him I'd have to guess that it will be in the secondary somewhere.

 

Fortenberry said they offered four or five guys down at the AL/MS game. Have you seen who else came out of there with an offer?

 

Auburn press says Smith is being recruited by Mahlzahn as a QB. Smith said he was happy with his commitment to Auburn on 12/12.
