Assuming he doesn't get an nfl gig this year, would this be a name worth considering for the head coaching gig? Defensive minded/gun game guy that would fit in sec style, and he's respected enough he'd be able to get in front of kids. Other than pacman, seemed to do fairly well with yougner guys that I can remember and is energetic enough that it would be a positive. Just a random thought I had that I wanted to throw out there. Thoughts?
Not saying he or someone else in position wouldn't, but.... I can't see him coming here if nothing comes available in the pros. IMO motivation for recruiting wouldn't be there for someone with his money. Unless he or any other former NFL coach just love college ball that much.
Fisher was sick of the pro game when he quit/got fired. I don't think he has any desire to work right now.
Tennessee could (and is at the moment) do worse. Seems like a pro guy. Wish the bastard would have took the USC job if he was going to make the move to college coaching.
