Stoops is 5-8 coming off a bye. He has 2 wins over teams with winning conference records at seasons end. Neither matters, Cats by 10+.
[uck fay] ‘Bama. Oh, wait wrong thread. Bwahahahaha Kentucky. I miss the beer barrel, we just can’t have nice things anymore.
To elaborate - I have zero confidence in the offense right now. I can't fathom that we are focused and ready to go this week. If it were at home I'd feel pretty confident but a night game in Lexington given what we are coming from doesn't excite me given how we play on the road. Doesn't mean I have lost faith long term, just none for the rest of the year. 7-5.
I argue that at 5-2, with two SEC losses, it is time now. Our season is effectively over as far as any championships go.
No, I think they are probably going to at least wait until the redshirt is secured since it is close.
There is something twisted about knowing Tennessee would be undefeated with Spencer Rattler who is facing a losing season.
Wasn’t he promised that he wouldn’t be redshirted? Edit: changed quoted post to the one I was responding to for clarity
I assume you mean Nico, and I don't know anything about that. I thought I read the opposite, that the family and he weren't really looking to take the reigns year 1
Yeah I quoted the wrong post. I feel like we promised that to someone but I honestly don’t remember who if it wasn’t Nico
Jmo but I don’t think Heup would come out and admit a plan to RS nico this year, for several reasons. But I do believe the plan all along was to come in, learn, gain weight, get some game time and take over next year, which could result in a RS. Several things involved. I’m just typing as I think here: -the wrist -no Cooper for first few games.. we dont want nico in behind Ollie or Dayne. clamoring for him at the time didnt make sense to me and really has little to do with Milton’s avg play. -issues at tackle -Bru injury -young Wrs unable to get separation. -senior laden team. Do you bench your sr captain early in the season and risk a locker room split after rebuilding one in 2 years? Tough decision has to be a part of the thought process for short and longterm, and considering other things i mentioned, combine for the Milton/Nico reasoning and how it’s panned out ytd. That said, with 2 Ls, if Ky looks bad, we have to see Nico. Team hasn’t lost faith yet in Milton like they did Guarantano, but that could change if things don’t change.
