Four of the top 10 and seven of the top 20 high school football players in the state of Florida go to IMG Academy. Weinke was the first head football coach in IMG's history. Jeff Fisher hired him away to coach QBs for the Rams, then he spent a year at Alabama.
I think there's at least 3 potential future head coaches on this staff right now. Helton, Weinke and Sherrer. Osovet is probably going to be an OC quickly, if he succeeds, he's got a good shot of being a HC at this level.
Pruitt is trying to be Saban. Saban had the successor to nearly every coach "in waiting" once he got it rolling at Alabama. Look at the DC spot, he had Smart, then hired Pruitt, who he trained and Pruitt is replaced by Tosh Lupoi, who was an "analyst" before becoming an on the field coach at Alabama. Saban rarely goes outside of people he knows, hell he hired Dan Enos, he's known him since 1987. In order to hire good coaches, you have to have worked with good coaches. It's why Kiffin got the staff he got and Dooley was able to hire a pretty good initial staff. It's why Butch had a MAC level staff.
