The 9-3 Vols take on Louisiana-Monroe in a three game set this weekend in the friendly confines of Lindsey-Nelson Stadium. The Warhawks are 6-4 on the year, and to date their most impressive wins are over Southern Miss and a two game mid-week sweep of Memphis State. I say that to say - I have no idea what to expect. This is last weekend OOC series of the season, and conference play kicks off next weekend. Discuss amongst yourselves.
Vols took game 1 last night 4-0 behind an gem from Zack Godley. 8 innings and 10 strikeouts. Game 2 is today at 4pm at Lindsey-Nelson. Since I don't have any pesky basketball game to worry about, I may venture over there. Not decided yet.
Lost 2 of 3 on the weekend. Not exactly the momentum you want heading into conference play next weekend.....
