If LSU gets to the National Championship Game, they will have earned it. Seven games against Top 25 teams. http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/schedule/_/id/99/lsu-tigers
They are going to take their offense back to the stone ages. If the D stays relatively healthy, they can win out. Everyone is going to have a hard time getting first downs against them, much less scoring. LSU is better than everybody on their schedule by a comfortable margin with the exception of Alabama.
AL at AL is a problem for a sorry offense. They are nearly identical teams, except LSU's DLine is now proven. I think AL has better LB corps to make up for it a little. Had Mettenberger been what they thought, they'd take it to the house, because the receiving corps is solid with Peterson at TE.
It is scary how much they resemble each other. McCarron will be the reason Bama wins or loses that ball game imo.
