Next coach at Tennessee.

How would you feel?

 

Never heard of him (but I don't keep up on coaching that much), so would fit in at UT.

he took the Baylor job. that makes me wonder

 

Terrible. He's not a bad coach but we need a home run. We've had 20 years of either hoping a hasbeen could turn it around or hoping some neverwas would make it big. It's time to win big. Time to spend whatever it takes to do it.

 

He is in such a bad spot we could about hire Rhule to be a position coach.

 

I don't trust anyone who thought taking the Baylor job was a good idea.

 

It's sounds about right up our alley.

 

Only because his dream job was taken by Butch this year.

 

Successful at Temple. In 2015 he beat Penn State and had Notre Dame down to the final seconds. He's just using Baylor as a launch point for a job like Tennessee, Auburn, Texas A&M, etc.

Him and Fuente are my picks for solid hires.

We will never get the home run hire we all lust for.

 

Both of these are spot on.

Anyone that willingly associated themselves with the Baylor AD is either an idiot or has questionable morals and I'd prefer they stay as far away from UT as possible.

The Fuente ship has sailed for us.

 

If UT is just going to hire another unproven guy after Botch's horse is saddled, why not give Al Wilson a call and see if he's up for it. I feel pretty sure they could have hired him instead of DDIAPOS and gotten better results. Probably could have hired him instead of Botch and gotten better results....

 

I'm a big fan.

 

There should be no capitalist coach out of reach.

 

I like him, but I would love to know why the hell he took the Baylor job

 

Given that it is Baylor, he may not have consented.

 

We both know that's irrelevant to the next coaching search.
