Can't stand either OSU or Urban Meyer, but he's exactly right here, and it's refreshing to see a sitting coach call out other active coaches for such silliness. You'd like to see such an attitude and accountability, here, instead of the incessant excuse-making shit-show we now have. Too many younger coaches indeed believe they are perfect and that everything the say-do-teach is perfect. If it doesn't work, it can't possibly because the coach didn't have them ready.
Meyer did leave Florida a flaming dumpster fire. I don't care how many nfl players were there, the inmates completely ran the asylum. I get what he's saying and it will forever be the guy getting paid millions' fault, but it's a legit reason some coaches fail. Now, you don't say it in public, he's right there.
