Imagine being on Mizzou’s defense and trying to get lined up and process all of that in what was probably 15ish seconds between the Sampson swing pass and the Hyatt TD. Impossible.
That shit right there is why this team could win a national title this season. Especially on a neutral field.
Most of us here could have written something of this quality, but it's still enjoyable. https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/t...fp-committee-by-running-up-score-on-missouri/
Don't look now but we may have made Drinkwitz's "list". https://www.yahoo.com/news/rick-neuheisel-tennessee-football-td-200636978.html Let me just say good and I don't give a damn. I hope he files it away twice.
This is projection. Neuheisel felt like coaches ran up margins on him and got him fired. Backups were in. These weren't trick plays. He also talked shit.
The way they engineer plays to not only gain yards but also already have guys going where they’re going to line up for the next snap is just mind blowing. Somebody pointed that out last season. It’s just something I never would’ve even thought about.
Just saw this. Not shocking but certainly emphasizes the point: Missouri went into Tennessee with four losses in SEC play by a combined 18 points. Tennessee more than doubled that. Missouri went into Tennessee ranked 13th nationally in total defense, allowing just 304.1 yards per game. Tennessee went for 724. Missouri is now ranked 34th.
