Did you watch the Kentucky race 2 weeks ago? There's 34 cars on the entry list, a series record. It's going to be side by side all day. The championship is still up for grabs. Indy 500 Dan Wheldon and one fan are racing to split 5 million dollars, and he has to start from the back. The end of the Danicant era in open wheel racing. There's been 8 different winners this year. The fact that this has been the best season I recall in some time. We're talking about it in the NASCAR thread.
I'll be happy if Harvick loses the championship on the last lap. He's the biggest [ock cay] sucker in racing. You would think the guy has won 10 championships to hear him talk.
Not that qualifying matters at Talladega, other than avoiding an early wreck behind you but Martin beat JJ by .001 for the pole. Damn that's close on a track that fast.
I didn't like Edwards early on, especially when he acted as if he was about to punch Kenseth. I do think he has matured a lot over the last couple of years though.
Mayfield's flat denials back when he got suspended are even more hilarious now. Plus he's now denying knowledge of meth or the stolen property on his property. Awesome.
