XXXXXX established himself as the top running back on Tuesday, then further affirmed this opinion in the minds of scouts today. He displayed incredible quickness and elusiveness every time he touched the ball, and also showed the uncanny knack to get past the line of scrimmage and through open running lanes without being touched by a defender. In the open field he showed a burst of speed and the ability to catch the ball. It was another terrific day for the XXXXXXXX product
Today at work I had people guessing anywhere from Trent Richardson to Demps. Nobody guessed it was Torin LOL. They had a good laugh when I showed them the article. Sigh....
I still think our issues with the running game were scheme issues. Chaney loves him some jet sweep action though.
Tauren missed some pretty big holes this season. Maybe that was due to him being presented with them so infrequently, but still.
A problem people really overlooked when evaluating Arian Foster. Anyway, who are some of the other backs Poole is going against in practice?
I thought Tauren was gonna have a solid 2 years after he went off in the head against Oregon in the 1st half. Of course, I thought the line would get better in that time span as well.
You may be correct. However, I will stand by my previous assertion that Poole would not have been the starting back on any other UT team for at least the past 20 years.
