I took a similar route, but am nowhere near that many seasons into my offline. Was OC as Jax St, then HC at Marshall for 3 seasons. And then recently signed on to become the HC at Ole Miss.
I went 15-0 with OK State last season in my online dynasty. Graduation killed my defensive front 4 and after giving up over 1000 yards in my first 3 games I've switched to a 34.
I never tried it until a couple days ago, but college football ultimate team is the most AIDS game mode I’ve ever played in any video game. It’s just the worst of the worst people and mechanics you can possibly imagine.

These challenges in ultimate team are some of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen EA do. Requirement: Get an interception this drive CPU: It’s 3rd and 15, but I’m gonna run the ball. Requirement: Get 2 tackles Bonus requirement: Get a sack CPU: I’m gonna run the ball 2 straight plays so that it’s literally impossible for you to do the bonus requirement. They’re not challenges. It’s just you sitting there waiting for the CPU to do the thing you need it to do. Laziest company on earth.
Like, seriously, if the requirement is for me to get an interception, why is the CPU running the ball on 3rd and 15? Why is the CPU scrambling instead of making a pass to give me a chance at it? Just the biggest waste of time imaginable.
They will run screens, dump it off to the RB bubble, get sacked, throw the ball away, scramble because no one’s open, run the ball on 2nd or 3rd and 10+. How. The. [uck fay]. Am. I. Supposed. To. Get. An. Interception. If. The. CPU. Never. Attempts. A. Downfield. Pass.
I've played MUT for years(Madden ultimate team). Call a zone play and back off the line of scrimagge and user a safety or LB.
I never got the pick. Not sure how long I played it, but I eventually forced and recovered a fumble, and it checked the box. [uck fay]ing morons.
The CUT game mode is pretty awful across the board, though. So many damn fumbles and mechanics abuse. Just a toxic ass community.
