Was kind of excited about it. Not anymore. 1. Online only play. Not that big of a deal, but I want the opportunity to play it if I don't have internet connection. 2. No God/sandbox mode. Yeah, sometimes I get bored and just like building the shit out of a city without having to put the work in. 3. Max city size is only like 2km x 2km I'm going to pass unless they fix the hell out of it.
I used to be a big SimCity fan, but I've found I like CitiesXL realism factor a lot better than the SimCity cartoon look.
I think in the near future persistent internet is going to be required for almost all PC games for DRM purposes. That said, if its not your cup of tea, well, where there's a will, there's a way.
